Biography

Kayla McDowell is the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Compliance Officer of RA Capital.  Mrs. McDowell oversees all operational and administrative functions, including compliance, finance, technology, and human resources.  Mrs. McDowell also serves as the AML-CO and is responsible for implementing and monitoring internal controls of the firm’s anti-money laundering program.  Mrs. McDowell joined the firm in 2004, has over 18 years of experience in the financial services industry, and is a key member of senior leadership.

Mrs. McDowell is a FINRA-registered general securities principal, investment banking principal, and financial operations principal and holds Series 7, 24, 27, S79, S99, and 14 securities licenses and is a Notary Public in California.
