RA Capital Associates LLC and/or its subsidiaries or affiliates (collectively “RA Capital” or “we” or “us”) are committed to protecting your personal information and respecting your privacy.

Privacy Notice

Title V of the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (“GLBA”) generally prohibits any financial institution, directly or through its affiliates, from sharing nonpublic information about you with a non-affiliated third party unless the institution provides you with a notice of its privacy policy and practices, such as the type of information that it collects about you and the categories of personal information or entities to whom it may be disclosed. In compliance with the GLBA, we provide this notice, which notifies you of our Firm’s privacy policies and practices.

Information we collect:

We collect nonpublic personal information about clients from the following sources:

  • We may collect background information from and through third‐party vendors to verify your representations and comply with various regulatory requirements.
Third parties to whom we may disclose information:

  • to help us perform contracted services in client engagement(s)
  • to help us manage and service client engagement(s)
  • when we contract with third parties to provide client-related services such as printing, mailing, and data processing services
  • when we believe that disclosure is required or permitted under law. For example, we may be required to disclose personal information to cooperate with regulatory or law enforcement authorities, report tax‐related information to federal and state governments, resolve consumer disputes, perform credit/authentication checks, or risk control.
How we protect your confidential personal information about you:

We have internal policies and procedures which govern employee handling of client information.   Third parties that provide account services and support on our behalf may also receive personal information about you, and we require them to adhere to appropriate security standards with respect to such information.

RA Capital restricts access to your personal and account information to those employees who need to know that information in order to provide products or services to you.
